Ringgold County has one of Iowa’s most haunted locations. That’s what “The Iowa Road Guide to Haunted Locations” a new book from co-authors Chad Lewis and Terry Fisk claims. Tedrow Cemetery, a few miles southeast of Mount Ayr, is one of the sites to make the book. The authors say tales of strange glowing light and other hauntings have been circulating for at least 25 years. The “dare” for Tedrow Cemetery is to drive into the cemetery at night and turn off the vehicle and lights. Charlie-Jane’s Bed and Breakfast, in Mount Ayr, is ready to leave all the lights on for you!
