Moose Lake Public Library to host paranormal author Chad Lewis

10/27/09 - Moose Lake Star Gazette

The Moose Lake Public Library will be hosting “Minnesota’s Most Haunted Locations” author, Chad Lewis, on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

Chad Lewis is a paranormal researcher and author for Unexplained Research LLC. Chad holds a Master’s of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He has trekked across the world in search of the paranormal. From tracking vampires in Transylvania and chasing the Chupacabras in Puerto Rico, to searching for the elusive monster in Loch Ness, and pursuing ghosts in Ireland’s castles, Chad brings over 14 years of research experience to his presentations.

Chad has been featured on the Discovery Channel’s “A Haunting” ABC’S “World’s Scariest Places”, and hundreds of radio interviews, TV appearances, and newspaper articles.

His presentation in the Moose Lake City Council Chambers on November 7th takes the audience on a ghostly journey to some of the most haunted places in Minnesota. The journey covers the entire state of MN from wandering ghosts in the North Woods to the Haunted B & B in Wabasha. He examines the phantom creatures prowling the woods to graveyard apparitions located in your own backyard. Complete with photos, case history, eye witness accounts, ghost lore, and directions, this unique presentation encourages you to visit these places for your own ghost story. The public is welcome to this free program sponsored by the Library. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library and winners of the Teen Read Week original “unexplained mystery” story will be announced at the program.
