You might want to check out the Unexplained Conference going on Saturday at the Best Western Midway on W. College Avenue in Appleton.

Chad Lewis and his team of paranormal investigators will present a program on ghost-hunting in the Fox Valley. It’s a program Lewis has brought to the Valley each of the past three Halloween seasons.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation begins at 7 p.m. Tickets at the door are $8.

Among other things, the group will discuss the five spots in the Fox Valley rumored to be haunted — the Appleton Curling Club, Riverside Cemetery in Appleton, the mini-lake outside Secura Insurance in Appleton, Riverside Cemetery and the Grand Opera House, both in Oshkosh. Lewis said he expects upwards of 200 people — some believers, some researchers, some skeptics — to attend.
