State's haunted places focus of program

Wisconsin's most-haunted places will be discussed when the Friends of the Fond du Lac Public Library holds its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1.

The program will be held in the Public Library's lower level Eugene G. McLane Meeting Room at 32 Sheboygan St.

Guest speaker Chad Lewis, co-author of "Wisconsin Road Guide to Haunted Places," will talk about the most haunted places in Wisconsin.

Complete with photos, case history, eyewitness accounts, ghost lore and directions, the presentation encourages people to visit these places, according to a library press release.

Lewis is a paranormal researcher for Unexplained Research LLC and holds a Master of Science degree in applied psychology from UW-Stout.

He has trekked across the world in search of the paranormal from tracking vampires in Transylvania to searching for the Loch Ness monster. He has been featured on the Discovery Channel's "A Haunting" and ABC's "World's Scariest Places."

This program is free and open to the public. For more information, call 929-7080.
