• Mel Waskin, author of Mrs. O'Leary's Comet: Cosmic Causes of the Great Chicago Fire, makes the case that on October 8, 1871 fragments of Biela's Comet struck Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan resulting in the fatal fires in Peshtigo and Chicago.  Although this theory has been dismissed for many years, it has recently been given serious consideration by scientists at the "Planetary Defense:  Protecting Earth from Asteroids" conference sponsored by the AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) and the Aerospace Corporation.

Mel Waskin, a Skokie, Illinois resident since 1965, was employed by Coronet Films from 1949-1994 and was responsible for writing close to one thousand of the company’s classroom films during his lengthy career.  He began as a writer-trainee and ended up as an executive creative director and supervising producer.

• Dan Barker - Public Relations Director for the Freedom From Religion Foundation in Madison. A former minister and evangelist, Dan became a freethinker in 1983. He is the author of Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher To Atheist.  He graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Religion, and he's a professional pianist and composer.  The FFRF publishes Freethought Today.

Dan Barker has appeared on many national television talk shows, including the Phil Donahue Show (twice), Sally Jessy Raphael Show (three times), and twice with Oprah Winfrey. He has also appeared on the national Morton Downey, Jr. Show, the Maury Povich Show, "NightTalk with Jane Whitney," "A Closer Look, with Faith Daniels," the "Shirley Show" (Toronto), Pat Robertson's CBN "Straight Talk," ABC's "Good Morning America" with host Joan Lunden, "Religion & Ethics News Weekly" hosted by Betty Rollin on PBS, the "Hannity & Colmes" talk show on the Fox-News TV network, and Court TV's "Pros & Cons" show hosted by Nancy Grace.

• Jeffrey Wilson, M.S.  has been looking at crop circles in the USA since 1996, and has visited well over 100 in the last eight years.  He will be discussing last year's Wisconsin crop circles discovered in Mayville and Clyman.  His research has been covered by numerous newspapers, and he's been a guest on George Noory's Coast to Coast.

• Jay Rath discusses his book The W-Files True Reports of Unexplained Phenomena in Wisconsin.  Jay is an award-winning journalist and humorist who has contributed to National Public Radio, Utne Reader, Milwaukee Journal, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Wisconsin State Journal, and The Capital Times.  He is also the author of  The M-Files and  The I-Files.  Jay lives in Madison, Wisconsin.

• Scott D. Ramsey has been working gathering information on the alleged UFO Incident at Aztec since he heard the story back in 1988 while on a business trip to the four corners area. He has been tracking down first, second and third hand witnesses since 1990 when he got into the story in great detail. He has travel to 28 states in fourteen years, spend hundreds of hours in archives, interviewed over 60 credible people with knowledge of the story. He has spent over $200,000 dollars of his own money tracking down leads. He has enjoyed learning of the "undocumented history" surrounding the Aztec Incident.

He has been on the Hilly Rose Radio Show, Dreamland with Linda Moulton Howe, and some local Radio shows in the four corners area where he met his wife, formerly Suzanne Ninos who hosted the Radio show " For Your Information."  The two were married last October 18, 2003.

Scott has had the help of many experienced researchers such as Stanton Friedman, Dennis Balthaser, Ted Looman, Linda Moulton Howe to help him in his work.

Scott attended Penn State University but does not currently have a degree.

Scott resides in Morresville, North Carolina with his wife Suzanne. Scott is the Vice President of a small specialty wire company.

He is in the process of writing a book about the Aztec incident and recently spoke at the seventh annual Aztec UFO Symposium.

According to the standard account of the 1948 incident, a saucer-shaped spaceship about 100 feet in diameter crashed in Hart Canyon 12 miles northeast of Aztec.  Military personnel and law-enforcement officers removed 16 dead humanoids from the craft and then hauled it away.
